Kaya Mawa — meaning "maybe tomorrow" — is built into the granite rocks of Likoma Island. Crystal-clear freshwater, kayaking, diving among hundreds of cichlid species. A complete change of pace after the forest intensity of Mahale — from primate encounters to Indian Ocean-clear freshwater.

The journey's final wilderness chapter. One of the world's largest inland water systems — mokoro excursions through papyrus channels, walking safaris on palm-fringed islands, and Big Five encounters in a pristine, roadless landscape. Duba Plains is renowned for its lion-buffalo interaction; Selinda Camp sits on a 320,000-acre private concession.
